Gfc Scholarship – South Korea 2018

On January 7, 2018, in the framework of the visit and work in Vietnam, Mr. Michael Kang - Director of GFC cosmetic company, South Korea presented 5 scholarships worth 100 USD / unit for 5 students of Faculty of Food Science and Technology – Ho Chi Minh city University of Food Industry with the meaning of encouraging students' learning spirit and passion for scientific research.

During the scholarship ceremony, there was Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoi - a lecturer of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, who joined the students. These were students who had good academic results and were participating in the implementation of Scientific research projects under the guidance of Faculty lecturers and active in some movements, had the honor of representing nearly 5,000 students of the Faculty receiving the scholarship.

Mr. Michael Kang awarded GFC scholarship in 2018 to students of Faculty of Food Science and Technology

 

Speaking at the scholarship award meeting, Mr. Michael Kang expressed his respect and encouragement for the spirit of learning, passion for scientific research, the spirit of hard work to overcome difficulties due to lack of equipment serving the experiments of the students who were awarded the scholarship as well as Vietnamese students in general and the Faculty of Food Science and Technology – Ho Chi Minh city University of Food Industry in particular.

Mr. Michael Kang hopes to continue to contribute to building a good relationship between Vietnam and Korea through supportive activities for students studying at the university like that of activity.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoi on behalf of all students of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology expressed her sincere thanks to Mr. Kang's goodwill and wished more and more opportunities to encourage the effort in academic as well as in scientific research by students of Ho Chi Minh city University of Food Industry and students of Faculty of Food Science and Technology
